gorman is one of australia's most beloved fashion institutions — a cult label founded by lisa gorman in melbourne in 1999 that built its identity on a radical proposition: that art belongs on the body as much as on the wall.

with over 50 stores across australia, a following devoted enough to call themselves gormies, and a roster of more than 120 international artist collaborations, gorman has spent two decades proving that fashion and fine art are not separate conversations.

for one season, that conversation included a kansas painter.

this collection features florals and desserts from the paintings of john holcomb — energized by rogue color, economy of mark, and an imperfect line that knows exactly what it's doing. the same instincts that drive his fine art practice translated directly onto gorman's signature celebration of art as something worn, lived in, and loved.
