*Solo ShowThe practice of John Holcomb is informed by an autodidactic study of museum history and White Cube display methodologies. Established in 2007 through regional printmaking initiatives in northeast Kansas, the work transitioned to painting in 2010. This shift represents a move toward the formalist explorations of Henri Matisse, prioritizing chromatic relationships over the limitations of graphic reproduction.
